NYC Weighs Mentoring Amid Hate Crime Rise

CBS NEWS — January 6, 2020 — The NYPD is launching initiatives to address a surge in hate crimes targeting Jewish communities in 2019. Mayor Bill de Blasio’s administration is considering recruiting individuals who committed anti-semitic crimes as teens to educate the city’s youth.
