NEW YORK, NY—We are thrilled to announce that applications are officially open for the NYC Green Fund’s Grassroots and Treetops grant programs!
Administered by the City Parks Foundation, the NYC Green Fund is a pooled grant program designed to support an equitable and resilient network of parks, community gardens, and open spaces across all five boroughs. As a proud grantee of The Charles H. Revson Foundation, the NYC Green Fund continues its vital mission to empower local communities, care for our environment, and ensure New York City’s public spaces thrive.
Whether you are a small, volunteer-led community group or a mid-sized non-profit dedicated to green space advocacy, there is a funding opportunity waiting for you.
The Grassroots Grants Program provides support for community groups, garden clubs, and local volunteer organizations proving open space programming and stewardship with annual operating budgets under $175,000. The Treetops Grants Program provides funding for organizations with annual operating budgets between $175,000 and $2.5 million that program, steward, and advocate for parks and open spaces across NYC’s five boroughs.
