URBAN DESIGN FORUM—February 15,2024—The Local Center is a community design network led by the Urban Design Forum and the Association of Neighborhood and Housing Development. The Local Center brings together neighborhood leaders, designers, and government agencies to realize local visions for public space. Their partners are planning markets, art installations, and cultural programs that will activate public spaces from Staten Island to the Bronx this summer.
